This is the best. I’m so, so, so happy for you, C.J. Also, I love Reneé’s expression in the third photo down on the left. Also, you and I are getting lunch (and/or dinner) soon. I’m not taking no for an answer. I hope all is well, Clark. I can tell looking at these photos that it is. See you soon.
Dude, I am so excited for you guys! I knew God was going to provide for you and Renee! I can’t wait to get back and meet the little guy! You two are going to make the most amazing parents… Congrats! P.S. We need to go get coffee as soon as I get back! I’ll call you!
Seeing these pictures took us right back. Isn’t it just such a magical moment in time? Now having done it both ways, it is such a blessing to hit the ground running. We didn’t realize it at the time, but when we adopted we were able to just jump right in and truly be present in each moment. Bio parents are already exhausted by the time they hold the baby, and mom is usually medicated and healing for the first few weeks. Adoptive parents start out with bodies and minds as strong as their hearts from day one.
Oh my precious Father! You guys, He is so beautiful!!!! God is so incredibly awesome!!!! Look at those little lips, you just want to kiss them:) I can’t wait to see him in person.
Praise the Lord! God is so good. Even when we don’t understand the path He has laid out before us. He is so gracious to give both of you, and Keane, to each other. I cannot wait to meet him someday!
My sister and I have been following your story and have been praying for you guys! I can only imagine how amazing it must be now that you are holding YOUR son! You guys have had so much faith and are awesome parents.
He is absolutely adorable you guys!!! Enjoy every second with him because you before you know it, he’ll be 3 and talking up a storm =) This has been quite a journey for you both and now you are beginning the BEST part of the journey…watching your little boy grow to be a man of God… CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Keane truly has the sweetest, cutest little face I have seen!!! His features are so perfect!! Those cheeks and little lips; he is just so beautiful!!!
I was thinking of writing awhile back; remembering something a Pastor told me; the victory will be all the greater one day!! I have held on to those powerful words why waiting for God’s answer for something, and I just rejoice with you both, as your victory in finally being parents; is all the sweeter!!
May God bless you on this journey of raising Keane; his awesome child, to be such a man after God’s own heart, and in the way that he should go!!! What a true gift and blessing straight from the heart and hand of God!!
